Introduction

"Off Hand Throw Pus" is a game often played by the denizens of the Benson Collective. It is a simple yet surprisingly engaging game of catch wherein one uses only their non-dominant hand to participate, ("Off-hand", "Throw"). In our case, we tend to play this game with a small, squishable octopus that lives on the shelf in our living room, ("Pus"). The thrower does his/her best to catch the attention of the intended receiver before launching the miniature cephalopod across the room. Sometimes it works. Sometimes you get an octopus to the face. This activity can be played alone or in cooperation with almost any other event, conversation, game, party, etc...

Yup, that's pretty much it. A simple recipe for unlimited minutes of entertainment!

We started this blog as a forum for open and thoughtful dialogue about interesting things. We love having conversations with each other about a wide variety of topics; we also rarely find ourselves to all be in the same room when these conversation topics make themselves known to us. With this in mind, everyone should feel encouraged to post materials here that they think others might find interesting, and especially those about which they want to have a sincere conversation. 

This is sort of a grand experiment, obviously. This blog has been sitting here for months with no posts at all, so we'll see how successful it ends up being. But it's an interesting idea, and I'd like to kick it off and see how it goes.
